‘Drawing is the honesty of art. There is no possibility of cheating. It is either good or bad.’
Salvador Dali
This statement has become a basis of work of Martina Ermeti, a young talented Italian painter. Martina graduated from Liceo Artistico Serpieri painting workshop and, over the last years, she has had many exhibitions in Italy, Spain, USA and United Arab Emirates.
In her last exhibition, Martina focused on women portraits. Inspired by the works of great masters, such as Klimt and Schiele, she portrayed a female figure according to her own style. As Martina herself said, she strove to represent a perfect balance of forms and colours through the image of woman.
Martina makes paintings for a New-York-based Agora Gallery and creates different works for living and public interiors on request. You can appreciate other Martina Ermeti’s works on her website and on her ARTmine page.
