If you live in a small apartment you might have ever faced a lack of free space. Small areas need special solutions, for such spaces we need things that would be compact but at the same time ultra-functional. One of the interesting space-saving solutions is a compact kitchen by a French manufacturer Kitchoo.
Kitchoo, which in Japanese means ‘good omen’, specialize in making compact integrated kitchens since 1993. In spite of their small outer dimensions the kitchens provide all the basic functionalities of a usual kitchen. As standard equipment they have integrated refrigerator, two-burner induction cooktop, sink with a telescopic mixer tap. The interesting and functional feature of the kitchens is the original cover with exclusive opening system. When the kitchen is not in use the cover folds and hides the kitchen top, making it look like a cabinet or a cupboard.
To produce the kitchens Kitchoo use wood from PEFC-certified forests and a range of eco-labelled paints with low VOC. The kitchens also feature efficient LED lighting and appliances rated A or A+.
Standard colours for the kitchens are the ‘clear oak’ and ‘dark oak’ but the manufacturer could produce them in different colours and finishes on inquiry. The kitchens are available at a cost ranging from € 5390.
