‘Skeleton’ Cutlery Collection by nendo for Valerie Objects

This cutlery collection titled Skeleton comprises a spoon, fork, knife, and teaspoon. It was designed by the renowned design studio nendo for the Belgian furniture and home accessories brand Valerie Objects. Every item of the collection was reduced to the absolute minimum, limiting the amount of material used while still retaining its functionality. The designers left the outline of the cutlery like the image of a skeleton reflected in an X-ray.

All the items can be hooked and stored in various places in the kitchen, and the teaspoon can be hooked onto the rim of the cup. The set also has a dedicated stand and a wall hook to display the set. The cutlery features physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating in four different colors – silver, black, copper, and gold – to provide an anti-scratch and dirt-repellent surface.
