Using only a camera and a projector, a director and motion designer Nuno Barbosa created a music video for a Portuguese singer emmy Curl. The video was shot in one take without adding any post-production effects.
The whole process was rather complicated and took three weeks. At first, emmy performed the same song being covered with different luminous body paint designs, and without them. These images then were used as a projection during the final performance when the singer stood against the black background. The choreography in the final scene was slightly different than in the projection. As a result, this trick causes the illusion when it is not easy to realize where the real person and where the projection is.
