Utilizing old tractor headlights, a young architect and an engineer created The Lampster – a fantastic lamp that looks like a little superhero robot. A campaign launched on Kickstarter claims that The Lampster is ‘the coolest lamp… ever’, and this is absolutely true!
The Lampster is designed with ergonomics in mind. It is large enough to be used as a desk lamp (the full body is 46 centimeters tall), and the body is in perfect balance to hold the tractor headlight, thanks to the superhero stance. The neck is made out of aluminium, and the head rotates in any direction. The wide base of the lamp ensures stability.
The Lampster can be used both as a desk lamp or an ambient lamp. It has two light sources. An RGB LED, controlled by the mobile app, changes the color and intensity, or can be even synchronized with music. A clear LED is controlled by touch, and it is perfect for the office. Moreover, two light sources can be combined to get a powerful light for outside the house when you have an outdoor party, for example.
