The young Slovenian startup Noordung has revealed a premium electric bicycle model, titled the Noordung Angel Edition. The exclusive pre-production series includes fifteen handmade bicycles, each is offered at price of 8,000 euros.
The Noordung Angel Edition is a combination of elegant design and advanced technologies. Its lightweight frame is made of carbon composites. The Vivax Assist electric motor is also ultralight, and it is considered to be one of the best electric motors in the world. But the most interesting and unique element of the bicycle is the Boombox, a multi-functional device with 32 Li-Ion batteries and two hi-fi speakers inside. Being connected to a smartphone, the speakers provide the rider with excellent sound while cycling. At the same time, they do not disturb surrounding people, as the sound from the Boombox is directed towards the rider.
Besides the batteries and speakers, the Boombox contains two USB ports to charge portable devices, and air quality sensors to provide the rider with information about the level of air pollution. Moreover, the special system can find the most eco-friendly routes for healthier cycling.
